bacon-wrapped-asparagus

An aphrodisiac is a substance which is used in the belief that it increases sexual desire. The name comes from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of sensuality and love.

In 19th-century France, bridegrooms were served three courses of asparagus at their prenuptial dinner

ingredients:
asparagus
bacon
black pepper
toothpick

directions:
a. place asparagus in a skillet with a small amount of water; cook until crisp and tender then drain.
b. season asparagus with black pepper.
c. bundle asparagus with bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
d. grill/fry until bacon is crisp
e. remove toothpicks and serve

    uy hindi ko alam na aphrodisiac pala ang asparagus!
    mel, bakit niluluto pa ng hiwalay yung asparagus? ako kasi diretso ihaw na sila. (trabahong tamad, hehe) me diff ba?
