FW10: X Marks the Food

Shellfish. A lot of people have marked this lot with an “X” because they couldn’t get past the first shrimp or mussel without breaking into hives.
There are a number of reasons we avoid using certain ingredients. One, because family members are allergic. Two, doctor’s orders, that is, certain foods cause your or hubby’s cholesterol levels to shoot up. Three, healthy living. As much as possible you don’t want to use food that have too much sodium or has msg.
So Wifeys, what are the foods/ingredients you have marked with an X?

eto sali ako rito… pero dito na muna ako sasagot, kasi di ko pa nagagawa ang aking post regarding my cholesterol chorva… later ipost ko rito
almost 4 weeks ago, i was diagnosed with really high cholesterol. since sabi ni dra iwas muna ako sa mga fried foods and take a lot of fibers (multi-grain, fruits and veggies) at iwas sa sugary foods, eto ang mga banned sa bahay:
- rice (pdeng brown daw, but i still take jasmin rice, 3/4cup during lunch)
- sweetened fruit juices (kainin na lang daw ang fruit kesa inumin sa de-bote) and sodas
- chips (ang kinakain ko lang ay popcorn at pretzels)
- chicharon (ang sad diba?)
- ice cream (si nel lang ang kumakain ng nasa freezer, sad)
- chocolates
ang di ko talaga ma-X ay ang inihaw na liempo, lalo na ngayong summer, masarap magihaw e =)
