In the Filipino culture, we are often spoiled because most households have their own cooks. And even if we don’t have a live-in cook, most children can attest that their mother is the best cook in the whole wide world.

I for one have not been in the kitchen before I got married. I was always the one who eats, not the one who cooks. When I got married, my mother was worried that I will not be able to feed my husband. Of course all that has changed. Armed with a cookbook that lists down possible menu variations for a whole 4 weeks, I was able to feed my husband and had him gain a couple of pounds.

One of my favorite things to cook is Baked Macaroni. I started with the baked macaroni recipe from my cookbook but eventually found that the recipe from Pinoy Cook yielded the best results. I guess it was all the cream cheese.
